Compressing while I Decompress

I'm working on my post about Vineman training weekend, but there's a lot to cover and right now its WAY too long.  I'm still decompressing from the weekend and sort of analyzing what went right and what went wrong (hopefully will have the post up tomorrow or Thursday, and hopefully not novel length).

In the meantime, I am keeping myself, and my legs, feeling good by wearing my awesome Pro Compression Marathon socks.  If you recall (and if you don't here's a refresher), Pro Compression was one of the amazing sponsors of my Ragnar team.  I love their socks and besides the pair they gave me for Ragnar I have purchased two additional pair (so now I have purple, blue argyle AND yellow).  I actually wore the socks on my drive home yesterday from Northern California and my legs feel pretty fresh and not sore at all.  So, compression socks are good for biking and running (which I already knew - I wear mine for 90% of my long runs and on the bike as well), but also for driving long distances.  Thank you Pro Compression for saving my calves after a long weekend of training (and in general for keeping my legs feeling good).

Ridiculous pictures of me in compression socks.

I already clearly have a love affair with Pro Compression going on and then it got even better this morning when I got an email from them and found out they are introducing a new color to their line - ORANGE!  Now, for the best part - you can this fantastic new color (yes, I said it, fantastic, I like orange) sock for 40% off (that's only $30, so you're getting $20 worth of a pair socks for free).  Orange is the June sock of the month.  Click this link: http://www.procompression.com/marathon-orange/ and select your size and use Coupon Code: SOM612, it's that easy.  Place your order before July 10, 2012 (quantities are limited, so get on it - ASAP!) and get your socks for just $30!!! (PLUS - FREE shipping!!)  Deal!  (This discount is only good for the June sock of the month - orange.)

I seriously love my Pro Compression socks (check out this review of mine that I wrote post Ragnar - this all still holds true and they are amazing for marathon/triathlon training) and would not share this deal if I didn't think these were a great product already. So, go check 'em out.

Also of note - I tried getting on my bike this morning for my bonus spin and my body rejected the idea of getting back on.  I need the memory of 8 1/2 hours on my bike to fade - and fast.  I need to get in that bonus spin, but all I can think right now is ouch.  Any tips for putting the memory of a long day aside?

  1. In a sea of faces filled with a material whose color matches the body -- yet more evidence of
the design team's attention to detail. But it's sex cams a rarity on
Verizon -- so to see our Droid 2's data indicator flip-flop from EV-DO to 1xRTT and then disappear entirely was really alarming.

Look into my site - sexcams
